Greetings, and thanks for visiting our website.
I’m Bruce Williams, residing in the small western town of Sisters, Oregon situated on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains. I moved to beautiful Central Oregon following a 27 year career as a Naval Officer specializing in Nuclear Submarine and Aircraft Carrier engineering, followed by 10 years as an engineering contractor in the Washington DC area.

Since moving to Oregon I’ve spent some time honing my dormant painting and woodworking skills.
I recently blended both of these pastimes into a rather unique form of functional art, making and hand-painting children’s chairs that incorporate customized portraits of dogs as part of the chair structure. Beginning with chairs made for my granddaughters, this hobby soon morphed into the Sitting Dog Chair Company, specializing in custom made children’s chairs with hand painted portraits on wood comprising the back of each chair.
